Students can't tick off any placement hours that they haven't approved, why is this and can it be changed?

Question: Students can't tick off any placement hours that they haven't approved. Why is this, and can it be changed? 


Answer: If the placement status has been changed to one of the completion statuses on the placement 'Completion page', the student loses access to making any changes. The placement needs to be changed back to live so students can sign off their hours and complete their journal. Changing the status of a placement is completed by going into the placement, go into the Completion tab, and use the 'reset status' button on the right to make the placement 'Live' again.
