Question: Can a T-level learner complete more than 2 industry placements if one of them doesn't work out? How is this recorded on Navigate?

Answer: If a student completes time at a placement that does not work out, there are several options as to how this could be linked to their T Level qualification:

  1. The placement can be rejected and unlinked from the T Level enrolment on Navigate, and the hours won't be included or pull through to the 'Course Deliverable' tab, which shows progress towards the students' TL IP completion.
  2. The hours can be included as 'Work Taster' hours; this would require the placement to be unlinked from the T Level enrolment and the placement type changed to 'Work Taster Activities'. Currently these hours would need to be added to the total hours manually, but they will eventually show in the main Course Deliverables tab in the students' T Level enrolment on Navigate.
  3. The student can, in certain circumstances, include more than 2 placements towards their T Level Industry Placement. (T Level industry placement delivery guidance pg.34)
