1. Click into 'My Placements'
2. Find the placement that you would like to add a journal entry against.
3. In the tab 'Confirm Attendance and Complete Journal', click on the button 'Add/Edit'
4. You will now see a list of all of your previous and current placement days. Find the day you would like to add a placement journal against.
5. If you attended, click on 'I attended'. If you did not attend, click on 'I did not attend'.
'I attended'
Please follow these instructions if you did attend the placement day.
1. You will now see a pop-up box.
2. Use the drop-down to select the hours and minutes that you were at the placement.
3. Use the text box provided to give a description of what happened during the day and how it helped you to develop your skills.
4. Under 'Skills Developed', use the drop-down to select the skills that you think you have developed during the day. Once selected, click 'Add Skill'.
5. You can upload photos and videos to your journal entry. To do this, click on 'Choose file'.
6. Once completed, click the 'save icon' located in the top right of the form.
7. Your journal entry is saved.
'I did not attend'
Please follow these instructions if you did not attend the placement day.
1. You will now see a pop-up box. Here you are asked to provide a reason for non-attendance.
2. Under 'Reason for non-attendance', use the drop-down menu to select the reason why you did not attend your placement.
3. Use the text-box provided to give any further information about your reason for non-attendance.
4. Once completed, click the 'save icon' located in the top right of the form.
5. Your reason for non-attendance is saved.
