Additions to Sprint 7.1.37, released 23 February 2026. This update covers student groups, placements, reports, the Opportunities module and miscellaneous fixes.
Student Groups
1. Added more options to the Actions dropdown in the Student Group module. The Actions dropdown now includes:
- Assign to Tutor
- Enrol on a T Level Course
- Request a T Level Industry Placement
Placements
2. Removed the 'Edit' button from placements to prevent overriding employer data. The Edit button has been removed from the employer tab in the placement record. It was being used to add employers, which created errors and altered active employer data. To add an employer:
- Use the Quick Links employer search to check if an employer is already on the system.
- Add the employer via the Employers module before adding a placement.
3. Added a T Level Enrolment notification when a T Level Industry Placement is requested. When a T Level placement is requested from a student or group, a notification informs the tutor of any students who do not have a T Level enrolment in place. Students require a T Level enrolment when completing an Industry Placement to enable the T Level Industry Placement Agreement and Review forms to be completed.
Opportunities
4. Removed the option to send Student Opportunity emails while an opportunity is in Draft status. In the Opportunities module, the option to email a student or student group is greyed out and only available once the opportunity has been made live. This prevents students receiving emails for opportunities that are not yet accessible.
Reports
5. Added No. Students with Employer Engagement and Enrichment Activities to the Management Report. The College Management Report now includes a breakdown of Employer Engagement and Enrichment data by number of students, number of activities and number of hours.
6. Added 'Students with 2+ Assessments' to the Assessment - Distance Travelled report. The number of students who have taken an assessment more than once is now included. If the 'Students taken Assessment' and 'Students taken 2+ Assessments' figures do not compare, the distance travelled data does not present an accurate reflection. Clicking 'View' in the 'Students taken 2+ Assessment' box opens a pop-up displaying the students' details.
