Release Notes: Sprint 7.1.39 (May 2026)

Release notes for Sprint 7.1.39, released 18 May 2026. This update focuses on improvements to reports across Navigate.

1. Activities Report

The Reflection Coach score has been added to the Activities Report to allow colleges to see the quality of the information recorded. Both activities recorded by staff and activities recorded prior to the Reflection Coach release date show as blank, unless the student has accessed and updated their record.

2. Activity v Target Hours Tracking Report

The total visual has been updated to show total active students at the site. Total Students now includes all students live on the college's Navigate site, irrespective of whether they have any Target Hours set. The number and percentage of students with a target set is also displayed.

3. Placements Report

• Added the Reflection Coach score so colleges can see the quality of the information recorded. The score displayed is an average of the Placement Journal Entry Reflection Coach scores.
• The Placement data grid now includes the Placement Role Title and the Employer Contact Number.

4. Target Tracking Report

Slicers have been rebuilt to give more control over data selection. Target filters now include:

• Current or previous academic year
• Current status
• Target type
• Student attribute data

When selected, information in both data tables is filtered. The logic for "Active" targets has also been updated. Active Targets are targets the student has been working on in year, which includes:

• Targets with a Live, Late, Submitted for Review, or Rejected status in the academic year selected.
• Completed targets where the status changed to Complete in the academic year selected.

5. Tasks Report

• Tiles updated to return 0 instead of blank, making data clearer when there is nothing relevant to return.
• Added a Task Completion By name field. This identifies the person responsible for completing the task; it does not indicate the task is complete. The Task Status indicates the status of the task, including whether it is complete.
• These changes relate to both the My Tasks Report and the Site-wide Task Report.

6. T Level Enrolment Report

• Changed the link to access the T Level Enrolment and T Level Placement directly.
• Corrected the Co-ordinator filter logic. The Co-ordinator dropdown now filters the T Level Enrolments and T Level Placements data grids correctly against the allocated Placement Coordinator.
• In the T Level Enrolments data grid, clicking the link opens the student's T Level Enrolment record. In the T Level Placements data grid, clicking the link opens the student's T Level Placement.

7. Distance Travelled, Management, Starting Point and Students without Placements Reports

Tiles across these reports have been updated to return 0 instead of blank. Data is now clearer by displaying a 0 when there is no relevant data to return, rather than leaving it blank.
