How to: Categorise students' activities against their EHCP outcomes

Created by Chris Rowe, Modified on Tue, 17 Jun at 12:17 PM by Chris Rowe

1. Once logged in, click into the EHCP module.

2. You'll see a grid view of all of the learners at the college that have an EHCP.

3. There are two columns: Categorised activities and Uncategorised activities. The aim is to have all activities under Categorised activities and no activities under Uncategorised activities.

4. To begin categorising an activity, click on the student's name from the grid view. You'll be taken to the student record, a one-page view of all of the student's Navigate data.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the student record to view the EHCP panel.

6. Click All EHCP Activities.

7. You'll see a list of uncategorised activities and a list of categorised activities.

8. Click on one of the uncategorised activities and fill in the Activity Categorisation section by selecting the outcome this activity contributes towards. You can easily identify which targets are EHCP targets by looking for the little green heart icons.

9. Click Save and the activity will move to the Categorised activities section.

10. Repeat this process until the student has no uncategorised activities left.
