Understanding: The EHCP Module from Navigate on Vimeo.
We are very excited to introduce the Navigate EHCP module, which is designed to put learners at the centre of the EHCP process and provide tools that significantly reduce the amount of staff admin time associated with EHCP reviews.
1. Once logged into Navigate, click into the EHCP module. This homepage provides you with a one-page overview of your college EHCP cohort.
From this page, you can:
- View basic information about each EHCP including owner and review dates.
- See the number of learner activities that have been categorised against each of the EHCP theme areas.
- Access the learner's activities that require categorisation against the learner's EHCP outcomes.
2. Clicking into a learner's uncategorised activities will display a brief overview of all of the activities that learner has participated in.
3. Clicking on an activity will allow you to access a detailed view of the activity. From here, you can categorise an activity against one or more EHCP outcomes and, if required, attach the activity to non-EHCP learner targets.
For reference, the terms 'target' and 'outcome' are interchangeable on Navigate.
4. Clicking on Edit EHCP will allow you to access the learner's EHCP management panel. This panel provides essential information about the learner's EHCP. From this page, you can edit EHCP dates and documents and, for those staff with administration rights, access the latest learner EHCP and review documents.
5. Downloading the document will allow you to view the learner's details, followed by all categorised activities split into the 4 EHCP themes. Each activity includes a hyperlink which takes you straight back to the activity on your Navigate site if you would like to view it further.
